Building website for beginners, my suggestions

Building website for beginners, my suggestions

My suggestions on Building website for beginners and non beginners are outlined below. I wanted to show you how to do this without any damage to your pocket, and for that reason, I recommend strongly that you grab a free starter account at Wealthy Affiliate here. This will provide the environment in which you can build website for beginners and non beginners alike. You will learn online training here and also be able to build and deploy your website on the web.

Building website for beginners is pretty easy

This is pretty easy. One suggestion is that after following this approach yourself, you would offer a build website service yourself and charge a hefty fee every time you do. 🙂 🙂

My suggested approach

My suggested approach on Building website for beginners and non beginners alike is outline below. For this approach, you will need an account with Wealthy Affiliate. The good news is that you can get a starter account here, and you can use this starter account as your learning/training area initially. There is no need to spend any money on this until you want to go to the next stage. 🙂 🙂
This is a great way to avoid damage to your pocket or wallet or purse when you are learning how to build a website.

Log into your free started account, see a drop down menu on the left hand side and select the Site Rubix by clicking on it. Next a Site Rubix screen is displayed, select Site Builder and click on the Go button.

Next, you see a screen that shows a few easy steps (Step 1, Step 2 and so on) as shown in the screen shot below.

Let us go through these few easy steps, one easy step at a time. 🙂 🙂

Select the kind of website you want. On the starter account, you select “A Free Website” if this is not already automatically selected. If you have a premium account, you also have another option. However, initially use a free website option until you are ready and happy to upgrade to premium. Not many companies out there give you a free starter account with so much. 🙂 🙂

Next you enter in a domain name. Enter in something that makes sense to you and you might be able to grab that name if it is still available. If not, enter something different, until you find one that is still available. In this context, the name is yoursite.siterubix.com, where yoursite is the name you selected which has not yet been grabbed. 🙂 🙂

In this example, I entered “enterwebsitename”. As it was available, the “available” icon is displayed as shown in the screen shot below.

Going to the next question, which is to name the website. Sometimes people put in the full domain here, or just simply what the website is about. You could put in a short marketing catchphrase. If you can not think of anything fast, put in something like “Welcome to yoursite.siterubix.com”. This can be easily changed afterwards so I recommend that you put in a temporary statement and change it later if you want to.

For this run through, I entered “The Name of the web site goes here”. as shown in the screen shot below. The primary purpose of this article is to show you how easy it is to build a website for beginners and non beginners alike.

The next thing to do is to choose a look and feel for your website. Choose a look and feel that you like from the list displayed. In this example, I selected the “Hiero” theme as shown in the following screen shot. Don’t worry if this look and feel is not available, just select one from the list that you are happy with.

Next, a ‘confirmation’ screen is displayed, showing your answers. You just click on the “I’m Ready, Build My WebSite Now” button as shown below. This is another way of saying “Building website for beginners”. Once you click on the “I’m Ready, Build My Website Now” button, your website is moments away. You will be able to access your website on the net. How cool is that? 🙂 🙂

Build a website for beginners

A “hold tight, building website” message is displayed. A few moments later, a built website message is displayed. The website is now built. This post very clearly and very concisely explains how to build website for beginners. 🙂 🙂

If you want to learn how to build website for beginners, I recommend that you follow the approach mentioned above and then you will very quickly see that this approach works, and if you actually do this, you will have built your own website. 🙂 🙂

Let me know how you find this process yourself, after you do it. 🙂 🙂

Let me know if you have any related questions. Just ask them below. I would love to help. 🙂

  1. excellent article detailing how to start out building your own website.

I had a question. Do you know of any WordPress courses I could take online to further optimize my site? I’ve been seeing several really great things such as forums, email lists, and other things that I’d really like to learn to be able to do.

Have you come across any courses online that teach how to do those types of things?

    • Hi Alec,

You ask an interesting question. There are loads of places that you can take online to further build up your site. The best place to learn and do in my opinion is at Wealthy Affiliate. The online courses at Wealthy Affiliate focus in on things you need to know, and then show you how to implement those things on your website. Wealthy Affiliate have an ‘action plan’ where they suggest that after a learning video, than you complete some related tasks on that learning to further ‘cement’ your knowledge and to help you to build up your website. Now of course, Wealthy Affiliate is not the only source, but if you are looking to learn and do website building in a relatively short period of time, they are the best source.

      Kind Regards,

      David

  2. This is a wonderful site. It’s colorful and inviting. I like how you start out with the sale right away getting them to look at wealthy affiliate. There was so repetition but that’s okay. Keep up the good work! Just wanted to say you have written a lot of articles. How long have you been with wealthy affiliate?

    • Hi Ron,

Thank you for your kind comments.

I have been a member of Wealthy Affiliate about 1 year and 4 months now. I started out on the free starter account and was so impressed, I decided to try out the premium account for one month, then before that one month was up, I upgraded to the yearly premium account. I am now on my second year of premium account membership. Happy days. 🙂

      Kind Regards,

      David
