This article talks about building a website for dummies. What you need is to be shown how to do this and a way to build your own website so that it is accessible on the internet. We show you how to do this, in online training materials, including great online training videos. We give you a ‘play ground’ where you can immediately create a free website using this training. Then you are in a position to determine if this is for you or not.

On the right is a link to a very well known book. You could buy this book from this link and wait for the book to be delivered to you. 🙂

Whether you opted to buy this book or not, you can continue now to see below how you could, with some work, have your own website up and running in a very short period of time. 🙂 🙂

Building a website is much simpler today than it used to be

Building a website these days is a simple enough task compared to building a website a few years ago. Today by using tools we can take advantage of time saving tools to help us build websites. We can even build free websites, with some limitations and get them host for free on the web so that the free websites are accessible on the internet.

This post talks about building your website from the very beginning to getting it up and running on the internet so that you and others can access it from the internet. This approach is a well travelled and well tested method that other people have done, including me, the founder, owner and web master as djtrlm dot com.

This approach shows you how to turn one of your passions into a great website, maybe even as nice and beautiful as this one. 🙂

If you decide to follow this valuable information and act on it, you will have access to online video training sessions which explain and show you how to build your website. You can then immediately build a free website on this great platform. This is a great way to validate this approach. You do it, then see the results. Once you get your first simple website up and running, you can then build it.

I like to show you the SiteHealth of this website over a period of time. The main idea here is to show that using this SiteHealth tool I was able to convert it from RED to GREEN by focusing my time and effort on activities that helped me to achieve this goal.
Web Site Health - Red - Site Health Needs WorkWeb Site Health - Orange - Site Health Is Getting BetterWeb Site Health - Blue - Site Health Is Pretty GoodWeb Site Health - Green - Site Health Is Awesome

By following the online materials, including great online videos provided by Wealthy Affiliate the Site Health of this web site changed from red to green. You too can learn how to do this. Below is more information which when followed up and acted on by yourself will, in my humble opinion, most likely help you to obtain results as well. I have no way of knowing if your results will be better or worst than mine. Note that you can start from having no website and/or having no website knowledge. By following this approach, that will quickly change. 🙂 🙂

I learned things here too and continue to do so. I find the style of doing online step-by-step video presentations great. I can view the online step-by-step video presentations whenever I want. I learn and do things at my own pace. This suits me very well and no doubt suits many other people as well and may suit you as well.

People learn crawling first, then walking, then running and so on. It is the same idea here. Remember learning how to ride a bike when you were a child. 🙂 🙂

  1. Nice to know that it is so easy to build a website these days, even for a dummy.

I can see that it is free for a starter account but what does that include? Sooner or later there must be a cost so how much will that be?

Have long have you been doing this? I have often though about building a website but then asked for what. Will I be able to learn what to do with a site without experience? I am completely new to this subject.

If I join the program will i need the book? sorry about all the questions.

    Thanks for the info.

    • Hi Barry,

Yes, these days, it is easy to build a website, if you have access to the proper tools and the proper help. The starter account contains a number of lessons of help you to learn the theory of how to build a website and the guy doing the video presentation shows you how to build a website, all you have to do is watch, learn and do. If you do ‘the do’ you will build a website. The starter account lets you build up to two free websites on their special platform, so take full advantage of that.

Yes, there is a cost involved if you decide that you want to become more serious about the whole thing. However if you follow the training and build your website or websites the cost is not that much. However I would recommend that you play around with the free version, and only go for the paid version if you decide you really want it.

Yes, if you follow the training and do what the presenter of the videos does, just copy him, you will build a website. Then with your new found skill, who knows where you will go.

No, you don’t need the book. If you follow the training, you do not need the book.

      Kind Regards,

      David
