Upcoming new domain extensions becoming available in the first half of August 2015

Upcoming new domain extensions becoming available in the first half of August 2015.

First you need a quick overview of what Domain Cost Club is all about. The following video presentation will do that and more:

Some Important Secrets in Multi Level Marketing (MLM)

There are in my opinion, a number of important secrets in Multi-Level Marketing, MLM for short.
One of these is choosing wisely and carefully. With Domain Cost Club there is no stock for you to buy for resales, so you never have the problems associated with handling, financing and managing stock.

Another is these is getting in early. That is another tick for you in your checklist of things to check. 🙂

Open

Domain Cost Club is live and open for immediate registration. I currently have 3 domains registered with Domain Cost Club. I expect to add to this number over the next while. I became a Domain Cost Club member in November 2014 and am now a Lifetime Charter Member because it makes so much sense. I am not asking you to do something that I have not done myself. 🙂
Update July 30, 2015: I now currently have 4 domains registered with Domain Cost Club.

Upcoming new domain extensions becoming available in the fist half of August 2015

These are upcoming new domain extensions becoming available. New domain extensions are becoming available on a regular basis. This schedule is subject to changes. The quoted prices are expected prices for Domain Cost Club Members and the recommended retail prices. All of this information is subject to change without notice. As you can see, Domain Cost Club Members can make some really good savings on as many domains they buy via Domain Cost Club.

Please remember, no matter what business or businesses you are in, it is very important to get in early while the best names are still available. A small investment today can pay off later in a big way, as the early .COM people could tell you. If you are not able to get your .COM name of choice, consider one or more of the domain extension names that are now available. Dot COM is not the only game in town. 🙂

Look at the .lol domain extension name coming out in August 2015. 🙂 LOL!

.lol $20.00 $38.00 August 11, 2015

OK, what do you do now?

You do some maths and see does it make sense for you.
You do have to factor in the cost of Domain Cost Club membership, the number of domains you buy per year, the number of domains requiring private registration services and the associated affiliate arrangement. When I factor in those factors, for me, Domain Cost Club comes out on top. This may also be the case for you.

  2. Wholesale prices on domains? Hey, this could actually be a game-changer for someone who wants to run a whole bunch of websites. Also, I love that there are all these different domains coming out. The .com domain extension has been overused in my opinion. It’s boring. It’s far more interesting to have a domain that has a more descriptive extension.

The only issue I can see here is that you need to pay a membership fee to get the domains at the low cost. Of course, this can be earned back by getting referrals. Is that a bit like a pyramid scheme though?

    • Hi Marcus,

I think you may be comparing apples with oranges. 🙂

Let’s compare some prices with the godaddy’s Discount Domain Club offering.

Godaddy have a Discount Domain Club which is also based on a paid membership. With them, I believe you pay $9.99 per month, and they then allow you to buy domains at a discounted price. The concept is very similar, you pay a membership fee which allows you to buy domains at special prices.

Yearly Membership cost with the godaddy Discount Domain Club is therefore $119.88

Yearly Membership cost with Domain Cost Club is $99

Round one to Domain Cost Club.

So once you have your membership package in place, you will want to buy domains, otherwise why did you spend the money on the membership package?

Lets compare the price of the very popular dot com domain for 1 year with both assuming the applicable membership price has already been paid.

godaddy Discount Domain Club Member price for a dot com for 1 year is $8.29

Domain Cost Club Member price for a dot com for 1 year is $7.85

Round two to Domain Cost Club.

Within the Domain name industry, sometimes the owner/managers of a top level domain (eg dot com, dot xyz) will have limited price promotions in order to help sell more domains. Currently one such promotion is for dot xyz domains:

godaddy Discount Domain Club Member price for a dot xyz for 1 year is $8.99

Domain Cost Club Member price for a dot xyz for 1 year is $3.00

Round three to Domain Cost Club.

This pricing will most likely be revised shortly when the owner/manager of the dot xyz range changes the ‘wholesale’ price it charges domain registrars.

In every case here, the Domain Cost Club Member price is better.

If you look at the godaddy affiliate terms, you will see that premium domains, sunrise domain registrations and memberships do not qualify for commission.

So if you buy a godaddy Discount Domain Club Membership package because of my recommendation/link, I get nothing even though you are going to spend $119.88 every year. That is very wrong in my opinion. Then on top of that, they sell domains, and again, I get nothing. That is very wrong in my opinion. So for passing them over $119 worth of business every year, I get nothing. That is very wrong in my opinion.

Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) is a legal way of doing business, however is structured almost like a pyramid scheme. There is no enrolment cost once you pay for Domain Cost Club Membership. The Membership entitles you to purchase domain names via the Club using At-Cost Pricing. Domain Cost Club completely explains itself, its offerings before you buy a Domain Cost Club Membership. If a Domain Cost Club Member decides to refer others to Domain Cost Club, the main source of income comes from selling Domain Cost Club Memberships.

Domain Cost Club is a sister company of Global Domains International (GDI), which has been a domain registry and player in the multi-level marketing business since 1999, over 14 years. GDI is still going strong to this day, and has a similar network marketing program that Domain Cost Club offers. Upon the announcement of new domain extensions being launched a few years ago, GDI decided to create a new income opportunity geared towards selling these new domains at the lowest price possible, all through a Membership program.

Domain Cost Club has existed for just over a year. Domain Cost Club is still growing, and regardless of when a new Member joins, they have an equal opportunity to refer others and generate commission and bounties, just as someone who joined on day one.

Domain Cost Club’s longevity will be proven by those who are tired of paying marked-up prices elsewhere for the same services Domain Cost Club offers. A great deal of Domain Cost Club business has been generated not from new domain owners, but those who want to save money by transferring all of their domains to Domain Cost Club, myself included.

Domain Cost Club and I believe that as long as people need domain names, Domain Cost Club will prove useful.

If you have any more questions in the future, please do not hesitate to ask!

  3. Nice type of investment. A domain extension sounds like a postal code. By buying domain extensions, do we buy the entire area? Like, buying all addresses that contain these extensions? In that case, like how not all places are the same, not all domain extensions will be profitable eventually? Just some of my first thoughts.

    Cheers!

    • Hi Rosanne,

When you buy a domain name, you buy the domain name with the domain extension.

You can buy domain extensions yourself if you have a lot of money and assuming that no one else with money is interested in that domain extension, you can buy a complete domain extension.

A while back a number of companies were interested in the .app domain extension name, I think Google and Microsoft. In the end, Google won and paid $25 Million to be the owner of the .app domain extension name.

You nailed it correctly when you say that not all domain extension will be the same. However, it does offer some good options if your first choice is not available or is too expensive. For instance, one of my domains is a .XYZ domain and the owner of the applicable .COM domain had it for sale for $4,000. I paid less than $1.50 for my .XYZ domain name and saved almost $4,000. Not bad 🙂

      Best,

      David

  4. The Domain Cost Club is an awesome deal. For someone buying bulk domains its a steel. Also this product can sell it self.

I also like the MLM component. ‘m normally skeptical of MLM opportunities but this one is very attractive.

In terms of the new extensions – I still subscribe to it being better to get the .com (and if not then the .org or .net) but if its a real good one word maybe its worth testing the waters with the many new extensions.

    • Hey Marc M,

Yes, you are correct, Domain Cost Club is a great deal especially if you buy web domains on a regular basis, and the MLM component makes it more interesting and more profitable. The offer is actually more cost effective than using a competitor’s discount club offer, both in terms of the actual annual membership fee and the domains that can be purchased at the competitor’s discounted price (or at least they were when I looked at these prices in 2015). Purchasing a dot com is still the best option if the domain name you want is still available as a dot com, but if not, purchasing one or more of the other domain extension names could be a great idea. For instance I got an xyz domain for less than $2 for a domain I wanted, the owner of the dot com wanted at least $4,000 for it, so I am up over $3,998.

      Have a good week,

      Best,

      David
